Dr. ChamberlainLaura Chamberlain, DDS, PA

Laura Chamberlain, DDS, PA earned her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Iowa in 1979. She worked as a public health dental hygienist for the Iowa State Department of Health for 2 years before returning to dental school. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa in 1985. After finishing a post graduate hospital residency program at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 1986, Dr. Chamberlain and her family moved to Durham. She has practiced General and Restorative Dentistry in the Durham/Chapel Hill area for over 22 years.

Dr. Chamberlain places high importance on staying current with the latest treatment options and technologies that dentistry has to offer. She does this by attending quality dental continuing education. She is a founding member of the John Hansel Progressive Study Club, a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. 

In her time away from the office, Dr. Chamberlain enjoys backpacking, hiking, and skiing with her husband and two sons.
